Title Evidence-Based Practice

Welcome to the Research Blog

Research shouldn’t live only in journal articles.

One of the goals of my doctoral journey is to translate research into practical ideas that coaches, educators, leaders, and other professionals can apply immediately. Too often, valuable research never reaches the people who could benefit from it most. My hope is to help bridge that gap.

As I work toward my Doctor of Health Sciences degree at PennWest University, my research focuses on coaching communication, neurodiversity, leadership, and evidence-based strategies that improve performance and well-being. Along the way, I’ll also share insights related to instructional design, adult learning, sport psychology, and the practical application of research in real-world settings.

This blog is intended to document that journey.

Some posts will summarize recent research. Others will explore questions that emerge during my doctoral studies, reflect on conversations with researchers and practitioners, or discuss how evidence can inform coaching, teaching, and leadership. Whenever possible, I will focus on translating complex ideas into practical strategies that others can use.

My goal is simple: to make research more accessible, more understandable, and more useful.

Whether you’re a coach, educator, student, healthcare professional, or simply someone interested in helping people perform at their best, I hope you’ll find ideas here that challenge your thinking and encourage meaningful conversations.

Thank you for following along. I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with you.
